Mt. Oiwa (Kyoto Prefecture) (大岩山 (京都府))
Mt. Oiwa is a mountain extending over Fushimi Ward and the south-western part of Yamashina Ward, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture.
Summary
Mt. Oiwa is towering between Fukakusa area and Daigo area of Fushimi Ward, Kyoto City.
There is Oiwa-jinja Shrine which enshrines a sacred rock ("iwa" in Japanese) in the mountain. At the mountaintop are a golf course and communication facilities (for NTT West, TV relay broadcasting, and radio transmission).
Triangulation point is not set in the mountain.

There is also a transmitting facility of a community broadcasting 'Kyoto Living FM.'
Remarks
Local households receive TV signals directly from Mt. Ikoma when watching the programs by NHK Educational TV, MBS Mainichi Broadcasting System, Asahi Broadcasting Corporation, KTV Kansai Telecasting Corporation, and YTV Yomiuri Telecasting Corporation.
As for NHK General TV, quite a few households in this area watch the programs of NHK Osaka Broadcasting Station (JOBK).
(Almost all programs are the same between NHK Osaka and NHK Kyoto stations while some programs are originals by each station.)
The transmitting facility of FM845 (Kyoto Living FM) is built separately from other facilities.
